Central Dauphin High School has cancelled it's game again Manheim Township that was scheduled to be played on Saturday, Sept. 11.
Athletic Director Chris Hunter said in a statement:
"Due to the number of COVID-19 cases on the CDHS football team, the Central Dauphin School District has temporarily suspended the CDHS football season. This decision, which was made after consulting with the Department of Health and the District Physician, was a difficult one but is necessary to protect the health and safety of our student athletes and our community," Athletic Director Chris Hunter said in a statement.
The situation will be reevaluated on Monday, according to the school.
In-person instruction is continuing at the high school for the time being.
